Nathalie Lambert is a former short track speed skater. She won a gold medal at the Albertville Olympics, then two silver medals at the Lillehammer Games. During her career, she has won nearly 30 medals at the international level, including 16 gold medals. She was crowned World Champion three times in 1991, 1993 and 1994.

Considered by many to be one of the best short track skaters of all time, she is now president of the Short Track Technical Committee for the ISU International Federation.
