Evan Bush is one of the most respected goalkeepers in Major League Soccer. Hi is the first netminder in Montreal's MLS history to record 25 wins

Born in Concord Township, Ohio, USA, Evan Bush played for the University of Akron Zips in the powerful Mid-American Conference (NCAA), where he remains the all-time career leader in wins (62), shutouts (48), and goals against average (.60).  

Bush turned professional in 2009, and after failing to secure a professional contract with Seattle Sounders FC (MLS), he made his professional debut with the USL Cleveland City Stars in May of 2009.

He received the 2011 Golden Glove award, for best goals-against average with the Montreal Impact in the NASL, which helped him earn a contract to remain with the club for their inaugural season in Major League Soccer.

Three years later, he was signed to an extension for 2015 and won the Golden Glove Award as the best goalkeeper of the 2014-15 CONCACAF Champions League and had a breakout season, starting 31 games, after only 15 starts across his first three MLS seasons.

He was a finalist for goalkeeper of the Year in 2018.

After a career-high 10 clean sheets in 2018, he was the MLS' top goalkeeper according to the Audi Player Index.

Evan makes many visits to schools and is generously involved with his time.

He graduated with a BA in Marketing and Management and promotes the importance of  academics. He wants to stay involved in soccer once his brilliant playing career will come to an end.
