Paul Byron is a former left-winger in the National Hockey League, currently with the Montreal Canadiens. A talented playmaker in junior hockey, he made his NHL debut with the Calgary Flames in 2012, whom opted to waive him following training camp in 2015. The Canadiens claimed him the next day.
In his first season with in Montreal, he scored 11 goals and totaled 18 points. He has since posted back-to-back 20-goal campaigns. Two-time recipient of the Jacques-Beauchamp Trophy, he was named Assistant-captain early in the 2018-19 season.
