In October 2016, inspired by an optimism vision of the future, Simon Arsenault started MVP Group to promote sports and their positive values in order to inspire businesses and motivate communities. The powerful sport-related network of contacts he has nurtured over the years has allowed him to pursue what he does best: connecting sports personalities and businesses, and building mutually beneficial relationships between them.
From 2007 to 2016, Simon was the Sports Director of the most important independent entertainment promoter in Canada, Evenko. Moreover, from 2005 to 2007 he was an account executive in the sales/marketing department for the Montreal Canadiens Hockey Club.
Throughout his years at Evenko, his passion translated as a major contribution for the Sports division: he had the opportunity to manage over 150 sport-related and other special events.
Amongst his major projects, Simon collaborated with Evenko in 2014 to bring back the Major Baseball league in Montreal by organizing two Toronto Blue Jays games at the Olympic Stadium. Ever since, these games have attracted 100,000 fans annually, generating interest and hope for the metropolitan to be home to its own baseball team.
As an expert in business development, managing and negotiating partnerships, he has had the opportunity to manage many NHL, MLB, NBA, UFC, boxing, tennis and motor sports others.
In 2006 and 2007, with Evince and in association with the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal, Simon has participated in the holding of business conferences, which hosted international leaders such as Hillary Clinton, Nicolas Sarkozy, Mikhaïl Gorbatchev, Rudy Giuliani and Steve Wozniak.
In 2005, Simon completed his Bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration in Europe, at L’École Supérieure de Commerce de Marseille. In addition, he has also completed a specialization at the Université du Québec à Montréal’s School of Management in law and marketing.
