Yvan Cournoyer is a former right-winger of the National Hockey League (NHL) Montreal Canadiens who played from 1963 to 1979. Nicknamed “the Roadrunner” for his speedy style on the ice, he won 10 Stanley Cups and participated in the epic "Series of the Century" during which he scored three goals, including one in the final game. He is the fourth most prolific scorer in the history of the Montreal Canadians with 428 goals and ranks sixth with a total of 863 points. Now ambassador for the Montreal Canadians, Mr. Cournoyer was recently named one of the 100 best players in NHL history in the 2017 All-Star game.
