Smashing everything in his path at the beginning, Mbili had a successful career as an amateur, becoming the European Union champion at only 19 years old. Representing his adopted country at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio Janeiro, he finished fifth in the middleweight division.
A few months after the Summer Games, Mbili crossed the Atlantic and decided to settle in Montreal to begin his career at the professional level with Eye of the Tiger Management. He quickly made the eyes of his new adopted audience go wide with a solid second round knockout in his first professional fight in 2017.
Gradually climbing the ranks of his weight class, he became the WBC Youth Middleweight Champion in May 2019. Becoming a crowd favorite due to his power and speed, "Solid" has put together a string of spectacular performances and knockouts over the years, allowing him to add the WBA international super middleweight belt to his collection in the fall of 2022.
