Pierre Gervais was the equipment manager of the Montreal Canadiens for 35 years. He knows all the secrets and anecdotes that took place in the players' room of this legendary team.

He also tells several tasty and unpublished stories in his book ''Au Coeur du Vestiaire'' recently launched by Éditions Ovation and written by sports journalist Mathias Brunet.

In his free time, Pierre is passionate about wine and devotes himself to sommellerie.

If you want to hire him for a 5 @ 7, a corporate event or a business meeting, Pierre will tell you about his experience seen from the inside what he lived for 4 decades with the Habs.

He joined the team's staff in 1987-1988, after five seasons with the Sherbrooke Canadiens in the American League (1982 to 1987), and as many in the QMJHL with Trois-Rivières and Sherbrooke. Gervais was part of the edition of the Canadiens which won its last Stanley Cup in 1993. A member of the board of the Professional Association of Equipment Managers, he was honored during the 2007-2008 season by the Association sports equipment managers for his 2,000 NHL games (nearly 2,700 today).

In February 2010, he was one of the equipment managers for the Canadian team at the Olympics in Vancouver and Sochi in 2014. This was his fourth participation in the Olympics, after Salt Lake City in 2002 (gold) and Turin in 2006. Gervais was also a member of the Canadian team that won the World Cup in 2004 and was part of the Canadian selection at the 2005 World Championships (silver medal). Gervais served on the committee of the Society of Professional Equipment Managers from 2005 to 2011.
