Eric Lucas is a former professional boxer who was crowned WBC Super Middleweight World Champion in 2001 after defeating Glenn Catley. He successfully defended his title three times between 2001 and 2003, when he lost a controversial bout against Markus Beyer by split decision. After coming out of retirement in 2009, he knocked out Ramon Pedro Moyano, of Argentina, in what was to be his last victory. Following a loss to Librado Andrade, Eric hung up his gloves for good in June 2010.
