Montreal, Thursday, February 8, 2018 - Shortly after its official opening last December, Steve Bégin, Patrice Brisebois and Mathieu Dandenault were at Natrel Rink of the Old Port for a skating clinic. A visit that is part of the many events organized by the Old Port of Montréal organization this winter!
Former Montreal Canadiens players were on hand to meet the fans and give visibility to this magnificent activity. The Quebec public loved their experience. Bégin, Brisebois and Dandenault are definitely enjoying their after-career!
The Old Port skating rink is one of the most beautiful outdoor refrigerated ice rinks in Montreal. It offers a breathtaking view of downtown and many complementary activities are offered to the visitors on site. We can think of the fireworks, Cardio on Ice and DJ nights on ice.
Opened since 1992, the skating rink along the river allows skaters to get their food at Bistro Bonsecours and enjoy a good time with friends. In addition to being very impressive, it is also the largest outdoor skating rink in the city.
In addition to this trip to the Old Port, former Canadiens are often in the habit of visiting several Canadiens Children's Foundation rinks during the winter. We may see them skating at other locations in the near future.
