The QMJHL club, the Sherbrooke Phoenix, called up the MVP Group to invite several sports celebrities as guests of honor to participate in their annual golf tournament. The goal of the tournament is to raise funds for the players' scholarship fund.
Several celebrities from the MVP Group were present, including TVA Sports host Élizabeth Rancourt, Montreal Expos legend Claude Raymond, Olympic gold medalist in snowboarding Sébastien Toutant, soccer icon Patrice Bernier, Stanley Cup winner with the Tampa Bay Lightning André Roy, the BPM Sports host, Maxime Lalonde and two Olympic athletes back from Paris: bronze medalist in trampoline Sophiane Méthot and swimmer Marie-Sophie Harvey.
It was a wonderful day where participants who had purchased their tickets to support the cause were able to meet the sports personalities, play golf, and ultimately socialize with them during the cocktail reception. The MVP Group is already looking forward to next year's edition. Thanks to the Phoenix de Sherbrooke!
