For the 100th edition of the 2019 Mastercard Memorial Cup, Cooper Tires held a contest for hockey fans to experience the tournament in VIP mode!
The promotion was launched in collaboration with all 52 Canadian Hockey League (CHL) teams during the winter. Winners had the opportunity to enjoy a VIP experience by flying to Regina on a private jet. Afterwards, they would attend the Mastercard Memorial Cup games in a lounge with Guy Lafleur.
The former Remparts hero was very happy to be able to share this moment with junior hockey fans. The event brought back some good memories for him as he captured the famous Cup in 1971. In this tournament, he had collected 9 goals and 5 assists in 7 games to lead them to this conquest.

Grand prize (one winner): a VIP trip for four on a private jet with Guy Lafleur to the 2018 Mastercard Memorial Cup. Includes:
- Return economy airfare for the winner and 3 guests to Montreal.
- Return flight for winner and three guests on a private plane from Montreal to Regina.
