CF Montreal captain, Samuel Piette, was one of the celebrities featured in a Great Regional Contest that invited all citizens to visit their municipal library for a chance to win one of 200 instant prizes including a personalized item from Samuel Piette himself.
The initiative was designed to promote a positive feeling associated with the use of public libraries and also to encourage Quebecers of all generations to take ownership of these places and to appreciate how beneficial accessing knowledge through libraries can be.
Samuel was thrilled to participate in such a contest, recognizing the phenomenal contribution of reading in his life and the role it has played in shaping his winning spirit.
The Great Contest ended on February 25 at 11:59 pm with a total of 11,443 participants! The winner will be announce shortly.
