Following a 20-year career in the National Hockey League, Marc Bergevin learned the ropes as an executive in the prestigious Chicago Blackhawks organization. In 2012, following a hefty interview process, Bergevin was named General Manager of the Montreal Canadiens, the team he grew up watching hoist the Stanley Cup six times during the powerful 1970s dynasty. Under his reign, the Habs reached the playoffs five times and made it to the Eastern Conference final in 2014, for which he was nominated for GM of the Year. During his career, “Berg” played for eight different teams from 1984 to 2004.
